Local Spots for New Titles
The Book Box - Book Shop | 58 E 12300 S Ste C, Draper, UT 84020
What started as a mobile bookstore now has a physical location as well! A great selection of new titles with a focus on genre fiction.
King's English Bookshop | 1511 S 1500 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84105
A large selection of new titles spread out throughout the house-turned-store. Make sure to check out their events and the back patio!
Frost's Books | 1980 E 2700 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84106
There’s something about a local bookstores that has a little bit of everything- new and used titles, cards, small gifts and more!
Poppy Books & Gifts | 56 W 200 N, Spanish Fork, UT 84660
While this bookstore is South of Provo, I just have to include it! The cutest bookstore ever with themed rooms and fun little hidden mouse rooms throughout!
Weller Book Works | 607 Trolley Sq, Salt Lake City, UT 84102
This large open bookstore is both stunning and great to shop through. While they mostly stock new titles, they have an upstairs full of rare and vintage books for collectors as well.

New and used titles of all kinds for sale. I have to include this one on the list for their massive collection of mass market paperbacks in the basement- a dream!
Central Book Exchange | 2017 S 1100 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106
My favorite second-hand bookstore when I lived there. Bring in your books for points to apply as discounts to future purchases. There is a little bit of everything here!
The Happy Book Stack Utah | 452 W Center St #105, Pleasant Grove, UT 84062
A space with second hand books, games and DVDs along with a cafe. A little bit of everything can be found here!
Marissa's Bookstore | 3302 S 900 E, Millcreek, UT 84106
Thoughtfully curated secondhand books with a huge amount in stock. Check out their rare and vintage books in the back!
Paperback Book Exchange | 245 S Main St, Spanish Fork, UT 84660
This former house is full of paperback books at bargain prices.
Pioneer Book | 450 W Center St, Provo, UT 84601
A great selection of second hand books of all types. I particularly like upstairs where they have YA, Romance and Mysteries.

A mostly used bookstore with an emphasis on local authors but a little bit of everything!

Chapter and Charm Bookshop | 2556 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84401
A sister owned bookstore for romance, focusing on local titles and new releases.
Lagg Bookstore | 51 E Main St, Lehi, UT 84043
The name is a subtle nod to what kind of books are inside (LAGG is short for Like a Good Girl). Come for a selection of romance and local products.
Lovebound Library | 145 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111
SLC’s home to romance. This inviting space really does have it all (including space to read in the back!) and so many fun events.
The Romantics Archive | 290 25th St Ste 101, Ogden, UT 84401
A gorgeous romance bookstore with a huge selection of books and more. They even have a cozy space in the back where you can host your own book club for free!
Specialty Bookstores
Golden Braid Books | 151 S 500 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84102
A hub for spiritual and self discovery titles. They have options from a wide variety of faith traditions to look through.
Ken Sanders Rare Books | 209 E 500 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111
The most well known bookshop for rare titles in the SLC area. They buy and sell a variety of vintage and rare books at their downtown location!
The Legendarium | 349 E 900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111
SLC’s home to genre fiction- you can find a huge variety in the books on offer. Plus a cafe with themed drinks and plenty of space to join a D&D campaign!
Moon's Rare Books | 4801 N University Ave #340, Provo, UT 84604
They say they are a museum moonlighting as a bookstore and that is certainly true. So many cool displays to look through while book shopping!
